For their Health and Wellness Committee’s first workshop! Join by SPTS Clinical Director Susan, we came together as one community to discuss the weight of the Holiday season, how important it is to listen to the people around us while showing empathy, and most importantly filling your own tank to be the best version of you for others!

The mustangs got off to a hot start out of the gate with the K-2nd graders learning about empathy then our 3rd-5th graders cleared some hurdles in thoughtful decision making.

JD here - and this week’s word is COMMUNITY.

I guess we are starting a lil holiday tradition as I was lucky enough to film this Word of the Week at Atlantic Farms in Monmouth County for the second year in a row!

Speaking of Monmouth County, this week’s guest Jodi is a changemaker at MODC who gave me this week’s word COMMUNITY.

In between hanging with the turkeys and talking to Jodi we both came to the conclusion that we are all so lucky to be part of so many COMMUNITIES in this world.

If you’re reading this right now know that you too have COMMUNITY even when it feels like we don’t…you do.

This holiday weekend maybe take a breath and reflect on those COMMUNITIES or perhaps try to find some mew communities to thrive in this year!

The Lead U Crew played with a purpose reflecting on the growth mindset, responsibility, and active listening!

This was our first of three visits this school year and stoked for our return! We truly enjoyed the faculty, staff, and students of this inspiring school community!
